Finally this month has arrived; a busy one for me what with family birthdays, Heritage Open Days and of course the return of ‘Square in September‘. So very exciting, which is why I am starting with this brilliant garden sculpture. Not only is it ‘in the pink’ and pink, I was ‘tickled pink’ when I was given it!

Pink Flamingo

The theme for squares this month is ‘In the Pink‘ and the one rule as always is that your main photograph must be square. After that the world is your oyster, or should I say flamingo?! To help you get started here are some ideas you might want to consider;

  1. ‘In the Pink’ – means perfect condition or in good health, so that could be human or not!
  2. ‘Tickled Pink‘ – means delighted, so I’m thinking happy, fun and of course delighted. That could be you or the subject of your photograph.
  3. Pink – you can of course simply share anything that is coloured pink
  4. There is an extra challenge for those of you up for it – can you manage to combine two of these, or maybe even all three?

Squares is a daily challenge, so your photographs can be from the archives or brand new. If daily is too difficult, then feel free to post every other day, weekly or even just once in the month. No matter how often you post I will include you in my regular pink galleries. Don’t forget though to keep your photo square, and to pingback with #InthePink.

  5. My laptop appears to be on its way out so not sure if or when I will be able to join the challenge this month. I have restored it, but I think there may be a hard disk fault which means it might fail again at any minute, and of course I have no photo editing software. I shall see if I can get one pink post up before today is out!

    1. Yikes!!! Mine is also on its last legs, but nearly all are scheduled so hoping it will last me the month. Got no time to get a new one before!!!

  15. I’m taking part this time, Becky… although I don’t think I have that many ‘pink’ photos to use… which is quite handy, as I’m not sure exactly how often I’ll be able to blog this month! Still, we’ll see what happens!

      And however often you post will be great, you will notice I am very pink for the next 7 days and then it all gets rather vague!
